Domestic Violence Line
The NSW Domestic Violence Line is situated in Community Services in Family and Community Services (FACS).
It deals specifically with intimate partner violence and offers crisis and short term telephone counselling and brokerage funds to assist with overnight emergency accommodation and related costs.

- Provide specific assistance for Aboriginal and immigrant women
- Telephone counselling, information, and referral to:
- women’s refuges
- Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance programs
- local services, and
- legal services.

1800 RESPECT
Non-government national sexual assault and domestic violence counselling service funded by the Commonwealth government.
- Available any time.
- Provides a professional telephone and online crisis and trauma counselling service to assist people who have been or who are affected by sexual assault, domestic, or family violence.

Men’s Referral Service
- Anonymous telephone support, information, and referral for men dealing with family and domestic violence concerns, including police, court and custody matters, and behaviour change.
- Women, family and friends are also able to access telephone counselling.
